If you carefully look at the spectrum of light, you will see all colours except magenta. There is no wavelength that can be attributed to magenta. Yet we see that all the time and it is one of the prominent and eye catching colour. Every colour wheel has it. Pantone also declared ‘Viva Magenta’ as the colour of the year 2023.
